Homeopathy with Sue Baker
Sue provides consultations for women with minor pregnancy related conditions such as nausea, backache and constipation, as well as more severe pregnancy induced symptoms.
Some women choose to live with the discomfort of minor complaints during pregnancy because they are concerned about the possible effects of conventional medicines on their unborn child. As only minute amounts of active ingredients are used in homeopathic medicines, they can be safely used in pregnancy when the use of conventional drugs would be inadvisable.
There are homeopathic medicines which appear to be effective in helping during childbirth. Sue can advise you both on the use of remedies in labour. It is strongly recommended that you maintain your relationship with your GP and midwife but when necessary, homeopathic and conventional approaches can be used alongside one another to give the most appropriate care.
Sue will consider all aspects of your health including past medical history, diet and lifestyle so that she can find a remedy that matches you and your symptoms as precisely as possible.
Sue trained at the British School of Homeopathy completing a final year thesis on Treating Hay Fever with Homeopathy. She finds working with mothers and children particularly rewarding.
