Caroline Staunton
Professional Profile
I gained my qualifications in Reflexology and Aromatherapy from the Raworth College in 1992. Prior to my training in complementary medicine, I had previously worked as a nurse and midwife.
From 1992 to 2003, I worked in a busy practice in Dublin, before moving to Stroud eight years ago. In the past, I have worked with different groups, giving workshops on stress management and on women’s health issues, and currently on creative movement and dance. I am a registered member with the Association of Natural and Physical Therapists and the British Complementary Members Association, and abide by their code of ethics. I have continued my professional development over the years, and am currently undergoing a post graduate training in maternity reflexology.
Personal Profile
My epiphany came while working as a nurse, with patients suffering with cancer, some of them terminally ill. Although, I loved my work, I realized, I wanted to work more holistically and in 1991, studied full time at the Raworth College, where I completed my diploma in natural therapies. Since then, my life has blossomed and through further study in counselling and movement and dance, I have grown and developed my skills not just for my work, but to maintain my own health and well-being. My passion is healing and working with the body to bring people alive, enabling them to experience well- being, excitement and gratitude for their lives.
