What is Tolerance Testing
We are all unique individuals, not only in our looks and personalities but also in our biological make up. For this reason we all deal with our food and environments differently. Some people can sit in the sun happily enjoying the warmth when others become irritable, overheated and generally uncomfortable.

So it is with food, one person can down to a meal feeling satisfied and comfortable afterwards. Another can feel bloated, sick, itchy, hot, anxious or a host of other symptoms which indicate that they are sensitive to one or more, or a combination of the foods they have eaten.

Tolerance testing can detect those foods which cause unpleasant symptoms so they can be avoided.
Nutritional therapy helps to rebalance the body so it can once again function at its optimum level; extracting all the goodness it needs from our food in order to maintain a sense of health and vitality. Sometimes this can mean getting rid of unfriendly bacteria that can cause unpleasant symptoms as they take up space needed for the friendly bacteria that live in our intestines, helping us to digest and absorb food and nutrients.

I try to complete the treatment programme in 3 sessions which are generally one month apart. I keep supplementation to a minimum, preferring to use ‘food as medicine’.
