About this deal

Theresa herself for never considering using HAL to escape the plane and only much later comes up with a crazy plan using Noodle Implements that nearly killed her. She is woken up at 4AM and put into a "twin turboprop," where Theresa learns that the bomb will go off at 60,000 feet. She is also given a special thermal one piece because it gets cold that high. While on the journey, Theresa ponders the ontological argument for God and prays the twenty-third psalm. They arrive after several hours at an aircraft carrier, where the plane refuels and then takes off again. They land at another carrier where Theresa is brought before the captain and a group of officers. A female officer takes out her cell phone and records a video of Theresa, asking her if she has anything to say for her last words. Theresa paraphrases Tecumseh with: "If people grieve your passing rejoice in the good you did and die like a hero going home." http://www.psi.uba.ar/academica/carrerasdegrado/psicologia/sitios_catedras/practicas_profesionales/820_clinica_tr_personalidad_psicosis/material/dsm.pdf The last part is especially important. Norman does not seem to comprehend that book samples are supposed to make a person want to read the book. If a book is well written and well done, a person is going to keep reading. If a book somehow grabs a person, they're going to continue on to the end. If something is wrong with the book, it is going to prevent the person from continuing to read - and that is the author's doing, not the reader. This is especially true with reading samples, or samples given to editors and literary officials. Norman, however, does not understand this - if you didn't read the whole book, you can't comment. This makes about as much sense as someone at a restaurant finding the first few bites of their food tasting terrible, and yet not being allowed to say the food is nasty unless they finish their entire serving.

Once again, Norman Boutin points to a person's occupation (Theresa being a student) as the sum total of an individual, as if all students can and should be able to relate to one another.Golden Moment: Whenever Steve and Theresa quarrel and then make up. Or at least, Norman tries to frame it that way in a very in-your-face kind of way. Ships: The USS Ronald Reagan does not carry F-22 Raptors (nor does any other aircraft carrier, there's no naval variant of the Raptor), only F/A-18E Super Hornets. This Wiki is inspired by the Indie published book Empress Theresa, about a young girl, Theresa Sullivan, who soon becomes united with a strange alien lifeform and gains superpowers. It has become infamous due mainly to the antics of its author, Norman Boutin. http://www.writingforums.com/threads/133885-Empress-Theresa-is-here?p=1571442&viewfull=1#post1571442

If a reader does this, and still dislikes the book, then Norman Boutin will simply dismiss their argument because they didn't read the whole thing. http://www.writingforums.com/threads/134037-Empress-Theresa-what-do-you-do-with-unlimited-power?p=1574595&viewfull=1#post1574595 Starfish Alien: Hal is an ageless, indestructible life form that looks like a white orb. His biology is utterly inexplicable, supposedly being based on dark matter, but it is known that he can only reproduce while in symbiosis with a host. Theresa: So! I could do anything I wanted to anybody and nobody would dare do anything about it! I kind of liked that.Marine Biology: Theresa's tampering of Earth's fragile ecosystem warms the oceans and decreases their salinity. There's no mention of marine organisms dying en masse. This is (purportedly) an adult man attempting to write in the voice of a young girl. It reads like an adult man trying to write in the voice of a young girl. Evidently he thinks ten year old girls speak in short, choppy, awkward, irritating sentences. Nothing about this first person narration rings true. As most indie authors know, part of how you market your books is how you market yourself. Because you're on your own for getting the word out, people are going to look at you and see how you carry yourself, and how you brand your product. If you're conceited and egotistical, and respond to criticism with the maturity of an angry five-year old, then people are going to hate your product. If you show maturity, a respect for the craft, and a love for your readers, then people are going to be interested in what you have to offer.

The land bridge to Crete begins construction, and it turns out it’s a little bit more complex than she first planned, as the Mediterranean is too deep in some areas to physically lift it up. Instead, she gets a stream of Atlantic mud to create this bridge from the top instead of the bottom, and waits for it to eventually dry out in case the evacuation happens sooner than expected. This later becomes a recurring plot point for Theresa in that whenever a new problem arises, she has to spend time "Programming" HAL to do whatever it is she needs done but will always end up with a new set of fully functional powers to use by the end. Steve and Theresa fall in love, and decide to marry because they couldn't "go four years without doing it." They get married and hold a reception where Theresa shows off her shoulders and cleavage, which "charmed the crowd."Does This Remind You of Anything?: The alien "merges" with Theresa by appearing as a "softball-sized white ball" and entering her abdomen. Yes, you read that right.

Anyone who opposes Theresa grasps it firmly, first and foremost Army and Navy officers who let her carry everything she needs for her plan to escape being executed via Nuke 'em without batting an eye. New Powers as the Plot Demands: Theresa is able to do basically anything to move the plot along. From super strength, to stopping the wind, to rotating the axis of the Earth, to launching giant columns of water into space, to mining elements from the Sun, to putting the whole world into an ageless 600-year stasis, Theresa can do anything short of actually warping reality. How she's capable of doing any of this when HAL's powers are defined as simply him acting upon learned reflexes is never really explained. http://www.writingforums.com/threads/133885-Empress-Theresa-is-here?s=fce8481fe38b0b020ca3f55b44bad07d&p=1571172&viewfull=1#post1571172 Norman Boutin is currently banned from CAF, though for what reason is not entirely sure. Apparently, he was suspended five times in 2013, [5] most likely for the way he spoke against non-Catholics and non-Christians.Character Shilling: Prime Minister Peter Blair thinks that Theresa is the greatest being in the entire world. He isn't the only one who does this but he's very prominent about it. Space: Jan Struthers says that "a comet will move in a straight line, not a curve", despite comets being well-known for moving in curves and orbits. A very good example of this is the Army-Navy game. Theresa participates in the Army-Navy game, which is hyped up to be a massive event. When it actually happens? Theresa just mentions it within a sentence and calls it a day. Similarly when she's married at 19, she spends more time describing her dress than the actual ceremony. Fantastic Foxes: A fox is the host for the magical alien for many years until Theresa is 10 years old. The implication — via Boutin himself suggesting that HAL is pure intellect — is that foxes are magically and intellectually proficient.
