Annabel Hollis
Professional Profile
I completed my 2 year training as a massage therapist with the Maitri Foundation in 2005, and before this was a nurse for 11 years, working both in a hospice and an anthroposophical clinic. I have been in a supervision group for nearly 2 years, with Andy Fagg, founder of the Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork, working with a process orientated approach, and a focus on emotional processing.
I am passionate about the human body, and am committed to more fully inhabiting my own, as well as facilitating this in others. Honouring the body, especially its need for rest and recuperation, reduces stress related symptoms and illnesses, bringing greater health, aliveness and enjoyment of life. I am deeply inspired by the wisdom of the natural world, and the role of rhythms and cycles within it, which incorporates quiet times of renewal. I support my clients to reawaken to their own inner wisdom, and knowing.

Personal Profile
I facilitate creativity groups connecting with the cycle of the year, allowing participants to reawaken to their own inner wisdom and knowing. Completion of a 2 year Access course to Art and Design, a multimedia approach, alongside a Foundation in Art Therapy has facilitated a new boldness in my art making, alongside a greater openness to play and experimentation. I have given several public talks about my personal healing journey, including “The Wisdom and Creative Power of Dreams” and “Living a Creative and Passionate Life. I’m one of the founding members of the UK Spiritual Crisis Network, an organisation which provides information and support to those in spiritual crisis.
I feel a close connection to the land, and love gardening, including growing vegetables. I also experience deep nourishment from simply being outside in the natural world, and have a particular fondness for horses. I also love dance and going to the theatre!
I have recently published a minibook, “Coming Home to Earth- Seeing the World Anew”. Seewww.messengerminibooks.com
